Hello there! I’m a writer (and sometimes artist) who’s been “in the game” since 2010. I got my first start writing gaming pieces for The Kartel, before transitioning to the Editor for The Movie Pool. Currently, I sit as the Editor-in-Chief at Cinelinx.com while also writing articles for Nerdist, io9, Observer, Star Wars Insider, and Videomaker Magazine to name a few.
I’ve long had a passion for writing, whether it’s telling my own stories, or diving deep into the stories of others. While film is my main “love” (having gone to college for it), I’m very much an avid video game player and comic book enthusiast. So you know, an all around nerd.
I’m also a dedicated Martial Artist (my first professional publication was for MA Success Magazine), and have been practicing for right around 25 years now. It’s safe to say, that just about anything qualifying as an “arts” is something I’m deeply interested in and eager to discuss.
As I continue my writing journey, however, I’m always looking to expand and definitely eager to break through the non-fiction barrier and get my own original stories out in the public. That’s a big part of having this individual site; a place where people can find my specific works and learn more about me.
